言うものの、初対面の人物とほんの少し言葉を交わしただけで、その人とまるで何十年も前からつきあいがあったかのような錯覚に陥ることがある。こうしたある種の誤解が、時として長い友情のきっかけなったりもする。

However it seems as if you have been a friend for a long time who is the person you have never met and only changes a few words with me then. - "Look like"は基本的に目で見える場合に用いる。「性格」というのは目に見えないため、ここは代わりに'seem'を使うと自然
- "Can be a chance for you to be a long relationship"ですと「you=長い付き合い」となってしまうため不自然。ここは'can sometimes lead to long-term relationships'と表現するとより自然。
- 'Lead to～"：～という結果につながる・もたらす
