近くにあるものを長い間見つめることは、目を疲れさせる原因となります。およそ6メートル以内にあるものを見るときには、目の筋肉の緊張が高まるためです。コンピュータを使うときに限らず、読書や工作のように近くにあるものを見続けなければならないときは、ときどき遠くにあるものを見て目を休ませるようにしましょう。

(A)言いかえ
close to~は「近い・親しい」意味があるので、正確に「間近にものを見る」と理解されるにはこちらの方がいいと思います。

(B)動詞
「目を疲れさせる」は、makeの方が「引き起こす」のcauseよりもいいと思います。

(C)補足
これは必須では全くないのですが、読み手に語りかける感じで「目が疲れますよね？」と付加疑問文を使うのもいいと思います。

(D)小文字

(E)動詞
主語はyour tensionsと複数になっているので、ここはsは不要です。tensionは複数にできる名詞ですが、ここは単数でもいいと思うので、その場合はsが必要ですね。

(F)副詞
ここまでに前文で「近くでものを見る」説明があるため副詞ひとつでも問題ないと思います。

(G)言いかえ
「遠くを見る」意味と思いますので、その場合はfar awayとする方が自然と思います。空や山など、距離が測れないものも多いですね。
